The New York Center Scholarship Fund is intended to make group relations conferences, training workshops, and other learning events more accessible for those who are often excluded from Group Relations learning by covering participation fees of up to $500.
Please note that events do not need to be New York Center-sponsored to be eligible for scholarship.
All scholarships will include a one-year membership in the New York Center.
We define the intended recipients of this funding as communities facing marginalization, namely Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA+, womxn and non-binary people, d/Disabled people, and people with low wealth and income. We especially prioritize people at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities.
Applications will be reviewed by the New York Center Executive Committee, and disbursements will be made on a rolling basis until all scholarship funds are used. If you have any questions or feedback on this initiative, please contact thenewyorkcenter@gmail.com.
We strongly recommend applying 2-3 weeks before the event start date.
This is the first of what we hope will become a robust set of actions and initiatives that address the need for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the group relations community, and we welcome your support in our collective efforts.
Or please donate here to support a scholarship for someone else.
